Into the Past: Pininfarina's newest Collectibles are carved from fossil-rich Jurassic Stones

Nerinea's Jurassic Fossil is one of a kind. Situated in the spanish inland, near Castellon, its quarry - the only one in the world - houses hundreds of million of years worth of rock and fossils, fused together by the passing of time.

To own a piece of Jurassic Fossil is to own part of the world's history.

Due to limited resources, only a selected amount of projects are chosen to feature this unique material. That is why we are very proud to collaborate with Nerinea on a collectible line of sculptures, each one unique given the nature of the Jurassic Fossil. Varying in size and shape, the series plays with the dichotomy of natural and ancient material, refined and reshaped with modern and future-oriented practises. This is the Jurassic Unique Collection design by Pininfarina.

Pininfarina, in fact, did not limit themselves in just developing a number of pieces, but developed a fully fledged vortex-based parametric system, capable of translating the visual identity created by Pininfarina and applying it to different sizes and measures.

The line will be exhibited at the Hyatt Zoetry Hotel in Barcellona up until October 2026, subsequentially, it will be exhibited at a to-be-determined location.
